Paul & Wendy

Hi! We’re Paul and Wendy Drodge, the Pastors of Family Church Waterside. We both grew up in the local area and have led the thriving congregation since it was launched in 2011.

We have two incredible grown up children, Elisa and Jack, and as a family we are hugely passionate about building the local church and helping people grow into their God-given purpose and potential.

We very much believe in being an outward-looking church and our heart and mission is to reach our community with the love and hope of the Gospel, whatever peoples’ background or circumstances.

Kids Church

At Family Church we love our kids. Below is a list of all the kids groups that we run on a Sunday morning in Waterside. For more information about Kids Church click here.

Please feel free to use the baby and toddler room if your child needs to let off some steam or needs some additional attention or entertainment! You will need to stay with your child/children, but there is audio of the service being played in the room, so you will not miss out!

Preschool

Elevate Youth

Elevate runs in Waterside every Sunday for those in school Yr 7 to Yr 11.

Each week we start out in the main service, but then leave for Elevate after the worship.

Our heart is for our young people to develop their own personal relationship with God and to know Him for themselves, believing wholeheartedly that ‘Those who KNOW their God will do great exploits.’ (Daniel 11:32)

Throughout the year we also run Encounter Nights, trips and socials. This is a great opportunity for the young people to build on their friendships within Ignition and have a LOT of fun.

Trailblazers Youth

Trailblazers runs in Waterside at various times and locations for those in school Yr 7 to Yr 13.
