2 Corinthians 9:15, NIV
Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
As the Apostle Paul proclaimed, Jesus was truly the gift that is beyond description; a gift too wonderful for words. In the book of Romans we learn this about our Indescribable Gift:
Romans 5:17 (TPT)
Death once held us in its grip, and by the blunder of one man, death reigned as king over humanity. But now, how much more are we held in the grip of grace and continue reigning as kings in life, enjoying our regal freedom through the gift of perfect righteousness in the one and only Jesus, the Messiah!

This Gift saved us from the grip that death had on us through the sins of one man (Adam), and to make things right for us, Jesus did not hesitate even a moment to offer Himself in our stead, taking all the pain that we deserved.
How do you say thank you for such a gift? How do you show your thankfulness when someone gives there life for you? We can start with words, but surely words fail to express the magnitude of the gift given by the innocent man who hung naked and bleeding, beaten and bruised on a cross that we should have been on instead. I can only thank this Indescribable Gift by accepting everything that the Gift provided. By walking in the fullness of the Gift in every area of my life, then my whole life cries out, “Thank you for forgiveness, thank you for health, thank you that I can live free from sin, thank you that I can come into God’s presence every day and share in His fullness!” This is the thanks that means the most to the Giver, a life that expresses its thanks through living in the fullness of the salvation that was given.
Today, let the Indescribable Gift of Jesus touch every area of who you are. Give this Gift an all-access pass into your whole life and let His ‘grip of grace’ have its way in your heart.
God bless,
Gina
