FORGE MINISTRY SCHOOL
PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR LIFE-SHAPING ENCOUNTERS WITH GOD, PREPARING DISCIPLES FOR KINGDOM LIVING AND FOR THE WORK OF MINISTRY. OUR AIM IS TO PREPARE YOU TO SERVE GOD’S KINGDOM ACCORDING TO HIS UNIQUE CALL UPON YOUR LIFE.
OUR PRAYER IS THAT YOU WILL BE FORGED BY THE FIRE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, FASHIONED BY THE WORD OF GOD, AND READY TO DO LIFE AND MINISTRY WELL, WHEREVER GOD HAS PLACED YOU.
FORGE IS FOR ANYONE AGED 16+ AND RUNS ON MONDAY EVENINGS OVER THREE YEARS, FOLLOWING UK SCHOOL TERM DATES.
This year FORGE will be running in-person only at the Empower Centre Portsmouth. We are excited about building a community of disciples who grow together over the course of the next three years. Each Monday evening will involve time to talk together, attend lessons, ask questions and have group discussions.
All students will be asked to find a personal mentor who will walk with them whilst they attend FORGE. Students must be actively involved in their local church and accountable to their local church leadership.
FORGE costs £300 per student for the year (paid £30/month or £100/term). This includes all notes/workbooks and books. Additional family members receive a £60 discount per year.
We are happy to receive applications until 31 July, so if you think FORGE is for you, please speak to your local church leader prior to applying. Those attending FORGE must be able to handle the academic side of the course, so if you have any questions about that, please ask.
We look forward to receiving your application!
We will receive a new intake of students each September. First year students will cover the ‘Identity’ and ‘Freedom’ topics over the first 10 weeks, whilst second and third year students will cover other topics* during the first 10 weeks. After that, all students will be together for the remainder of the year.

At the end of each term students will be asked to complete an assignment that reflects on the topics that have been studied during the term.
BOOKS & RESOURCES
Students will be provided with notes or workbooks for each topic, as well as writing paper. They will also be given one reading book per term which they should read in their personal time. There is no extra cost for these resources. All students must bring a Bible to every lesson. Main Bible versions used will be NKJV, NIV and NLT.
We would like all students to take part in at least one life-shaping Field Trip during the course of the three years. Students should budget £600 for this, but the price could be significantly higher depending on location and activities. More information will be provided at Orientation Day.
