FORGE IS A THREE-YEAR MINISTRY SCHOOL (FOR ANYONE AGED 16+) THAT RUNS ON MONDAY EVENINGS, FOLLOWING UK SCHOOL TERM DATES.
FORGE PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR LIFE-SHAPING ENCOUNTERS WITH GOD, PREPARING DISCIPLES FOR KINGDOM LIVING AND FOR THE WORK OF MINISTRY. OUR AIM IS TO PREPARE YOU TO SERVE GOD’S KINGDOM ACCORDING TO HIS UNIQUE CALL UPON YOUR LIFE.
WE ARE EXCITED ABOUT BUILDING A COMMUNITY OF DISCIPLES WHO GROW TOGETHER, DISCOVERING HOW TO SERVE GOD MORE EFFECTIVELY IN ALL AREAS OF LIFE - IN THE HOME, THE WORKPLACE, SOCIETY, AND THE CHURCH ENVIRONMENT.
OUR PRAYER IS THAT YOU WILL BE FORGED BY THE FIRE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, FASHIONED BY THE WORD OF GOD, AND READY TO DO LIFE AND MINISTRY WELL, WHEREVER GOD HAS PLACED YOU.
DO YOUR BEST TO PRESENT YOURSELF TO GOD AS ONE APPROVED,A WORKER WHO DOES NOT NEED TO BE ASHAMED AND WHO CORRECTLY HANDLES THE WORD OF TRUTH.
2 Timothy 2:15
INFORMATION
Each Monday evening involves talking together, attending lessons, asking questions and having group discussions. This year FORGE will be running in-person only at the Empower Centre Portsmouth.
All students will be asked to find a personal mentor who will walk with them whilst they attend FORGE. Students must be actively involved in their local church and accountable to their local church leadership.
COURSE FEES
FORGE costs £300 per student for the year (paid £30/month or £100/term). This includes all notes/workbooks and books. Additional family members receive a £60 discount per year.
APPLY NOW
We are happy to receive applications until 31 July, so if you think FORGE is for you, please speak to your local church leader prior to applying. Those attending FORGE must be able to handle the academic side of the course, so if you have any questions about that, please ask.
We look forward to receiving your application!
