Faithful & True

Resources Faithful & True
Revelation 19:11, TPT
Then I saw heaven opened, and suddenly a white horse appeared. The name of the one riding it was Faithful and True, and with pure righteousness he judges and rides to battle.
His Word is only as true as His faithfulness to complete it (Isaiah 46:11). To unpack that, His Word and His faithfulness are tied together because His ability to do what He has said He will do determines His faithfulness. The truth of the Word is entirely dependant on the faithfulness of the one speaking it. The good news is that He is both Faithful and True, not in attribute alone but in name. His word is entirely true because He is entirely faithful. What He has said, He will do.

Faithfulness is the ability to follow through; to keep a promise; to do what you say you are going to do. His Word is true because He is Faithful. He is not like that second-hand car salesman who is full of promises and lacking in delivery. He doesn’t speak like advertisers or promoters, with their grand offers and disappointing results. Every word that He has spoken in true because He is true. It is not in His nature to mislead, to exaggerate or to over-sell; He simply speaks what is true. The truth of His Word needs no added-extras, no bonuses or limited-time offers. What He has spoken will come to pass in your life because He is Faithful and True.

We don’t have to worry about whether or not He will come through for us on time because we know that He is Faithful. Focus on His faithfulness in moments of anxiety; look to His truth when fear comes knocking. We know who He is and so we know that what He has said is true and it will come to pass. Don’t let any lie try to convince you that He is anything but faithful or that His Word is anything but True. Remember His faithfulness and remind yourself daily that it is a fact and not an option; it is a name and not just an attribute. His Word is true because He is Faithful.
God bless,

Olivia
